Thanks to everyone who visited The S4 Group in the Real Time Automation Inc booth at the AHR Expo. We had a great show but unfortunately ran out of time before we got to see everyone we had hoped to visit with. If we missed you don’t hesitate to contact Steve. The show this year was larger and busier than we have ever seen. There was a lot of optimism among attendees about the building automation industry, the new opportunities that IoT technology are going to offer, and almost everyone is offering, or planning, Cloud-based services.
As always, we renewed old acquaintances, introduced ourselves to potential new users of our technology, and learned about the new trends in the BAS marketplace. The show gave us the opportunity to share a preview of our upcoming new hardware platform and discuss new products that we are preparing for release within the next few months.
For me, the highlight of the trip to Las Vegas was the ControlTrends Awards the night before the show opening where I was honored to receive the BACnet International Volunteer of the Year award. Volunteering as a member of the BACnet International Marketing Committee and participating in PlugFest has helped S4 gain credibility in the industry and has contributed to our growth and success.
We’ve all heard “What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas”. This is one time that I can guarantee that this is not true. We have a lot of work ahead of us following up on the connections that were made at the show.
