Controls Group North America held their annual Synergy Conference in Savannah, GA April 22nd through April 25th. The formal event schedule was packed with educational sessions, workshops, a vendor trade show, and an awards ceremony. Major sponsors for the event were Honeywell, Schneider Electric, and Siemens. There were also adequate opportunities during to get to know some of the CGNA members during the less formal parts of the show.
The S4 Group had a display of case studies and a live demonstration of the S4 Open: BACnet-N2 Router in the trade show. Steve was on hand to answer lots of questions from the CGNA Members and explain why the S4 products offer significant advantages over the way the participating distributors, and their customers, are currently approaching legacy Metasys® integrations. Most of them very quickly grasped the value proposition and expressed interest in learning more about what we have to offer.
S4 offered several show specials to CGNA members including participation in our Try, Then Buy program and a limited time BOGO offer for our Integration Boot Camp.
Savannah was a wonderful host city offering plenty of fine restaurants, historical tours, and nightlife that rivals any city that I have visited in the past. Transportation between the historic downtown and the convention hotel and conference center was by a free water ferry that ran continuously from early morning until late in the evening.
