Steve Jones attended PlugFest, an annual event that is sponsored by BACnet International.
BACnet International sponsors the event to provide manufacturers the opportunity to test with each other’s products in an open environment. PlugFest 2013 was held last month in Atlanta, Georgia. Each year the event grows in size and complexity of individual vendor’s devices.
After the first day at PlugFest, Steve stated, “PlugFest is off to a great start. We are excited about the opportunity to work with other players in the BACnet community to cooperatively improve our products.”
This event permits vendors to test their BACnet products in a neutral and friendly environment with BACnet devices from other vendors. This is the industry’s foremost workshop for companies to perform interoperability testing for their BACnet® enabled solutions.
BACnet International is a non-profit industry association that facilitates the successful use of the BACnet protocol in building automation and control systems through interoperability testing, educational programs and promotional activities.
