Steve Jones, the founder and managing partner of the S4 Group is one of five speakers on the BACnet Educational roster at the NFM&T show in Las Vegas on October 2-3. 2012. The show highlights building automation trends, products and best practices for facilities managers and owners. BACnet International is an industry association that facilitates the successful use of the BACnet protocol in building automation and control systems through interoperability testing, educational programs, and promotional activities. BACnet is co-locating the BACnet International educational track and supplier pavilion at NFMT Vegas this year.
Steve will discuss “When to Use a BACnet Gateway” on Tuesday October 2 at 9:00 am. During his presentation he will explain when a gateway can facilitate the meeting of customer’s goals and contain costs during an integration project. Gateway technology is the enabler of open systems.
In addition, Steve’s presentation will include real life examples of customer needs and how the use of a gateway enabled those projects to become success stories.
