Steve Jones invited to speak at BACnet Plug Fest

BACnet International’s 13th Annual Interoperability Workshop will be held in Tacoma, Washington, from October 30 to November 1. This event permits vendors to test their BACnet products in a neutral and friendly environment with BACnet devices from other vendors. Last year more than 98 BACnet engineers representing 35 companies attended the workshop and improved their BACnet implementations and testing methods. In addition to testing opportunities, BACnet International invites vendors to conduct workshops during the conference.

Steve Jones, Managing Partner of the S4 Group, Inc. has been invited to present a workshop entitled “Cost Effective Legacy System Migration”. The goal of his workshop is to educate attendees on what a gateway is and how it can be used to save customers time and money during a project. Workshop attendees will understand a variety of integration strategies and how to select an appropriate strategy based on cost savings, complexity, and a customer’s short term needs and long term goals.
