March 17-19 NFMT Show in Baltimore , Maryland
NFMT was launched in 2001 with the idea of a "Big Top" event for the entire facilities management industry. For three days every spring in Baltimore, NFMT brings together the entire FM community, helping to lead and guide facilities professionals into the future.
S4 has attended this show for more than a decade. With new ownership of Trade Press Media we are seeing lots of changes to the management and organization of this show. We are interested to see if these changes more closely align the show with the needs of the building automation community and the trend towards smart buildings and smart cities.
We will be there for one day on March 17th, and look forward to seeing what’s new in the industry.
May 3-7 LightFair Las Vegas, Nevada
LightFair is the world’s largest annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference, co-owned by the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) and the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES). The event is produced and managed by International Market Centers (IMC). LightFair 2020 will mark the 31st year of the show with enhanced learning and networking opportunities and expanded programming to deliver more value to exhibitors and attendees.
This will be the first time that S4 has attended this show. As the automation systems in buildings converge into smart buildings, lighting is one of the major areas where energy savings can be achieved. We are interested in learning more about how stove piped lighting systems are migrating into the BACnet world. Steve will also be attending in support of his role as marketing committee chair for BACnet International.
