Two S4 Partners Send students to the first 2017 boot camp

Relevant Solutions and Climatec made the investment in training

Relevant Solutions, the newest S4 Distributor and CGNA member, sent a student to the January Boot Camp. Cameron Webb, Controls Support Specialist, arrived with a variety of questions and wanted to learn everything about the router from a hands on vantage point. He has been with Relevant for 6 years, the last 2 in the controls group. Cameron’s experience with the S4 open products prior to attending the training, “I’ve seen the S4 box in a building, but that’s about it.”

Climatec, an S4 Integrator Partner, sent Mike Weber, a Systems Specialist who has been with the company for several years and had previous experience with an S4 product installation “that went very smoothly.” He arrived at S4 HQ with a goal of gaining a more in-depth training around trouble shooting, template development and to gain a better understanding of “how it can be used in other customer applications.”

During the training both students worked diligently to accomplish their goals. They both dug right into the material, asked lots of questions, tried out the tools we offer, and got plenty of hands on experience in the lab.

Climatec has a test lab at their Phoenix office to show off the latest and greatest products from Alerton and Honeywell, among others, and we hope to get them set up to include the S4 Open Products in this showcase. Mike hit the nail on the head when he said “the test lab gives customers the opportunity to witness the integration process and gain an understanding of the value. “ At the end of the training both Mike and Cameron could see the value of having an on-site test lab and demo site for potential customers.

At the end of the two days, when asked if the training helped them reach their goals, Cameron stated, “WOW, I can see how this integration works and I’m excited to use it.”
